Prices

A price is one of the properties of a product. Any product can have one or more prices. The customer can see one of the prices on a checkout page. These prices are set in accordance with the Terms of Sale.

The price you set up for a product may differ from the final sales price. The following affects the final sales price:

  • Checkout currency.
The currency in which you set the price for a product may differ from the currency in which the customer sees the price at checkout. If these currencies differ - when adding the product to the cart on the checkout page, the price is converted into the checkout currency at the exchange rate valid for the current date.
  • Tax regulations.
The amount of VAT may be included in the sales price or charged on top of it when adding a product to the checkout page. The Agreement signed with you determines the rules for VAT calculation.
  • Product quantity at checkout.
You can set the price per unit in accordance with the product quantity on the checkout page. E.g., when purchasing 1 up to 5 units of a product, the price per unit is 100. However, when purchasing more than 5 units, the price per unit is 90.
  • Discount availability.
You can use several product discount options. More details on discounts and promotions

There are several ways to set up the price per unit:

With this pricing model:

  • The price per unit is the same when buying any quantity of the product.
  • The product is available for sale in all currencies according to your agreement.
  • You set the price in one of the base currencies: USD/EUR/RUB. Further, this price is used to calculate the product price in the currency selected by the customer at checkout. The currencies available to the customer are determined in accordance with the Agreement you sign.
  • If the currency on the checkout page (checkout currency) differs from the currency in which you set the price, price conversion takes place at the exchange rate valid for a current date.

Price Format: Default

By default, the checkout page displays:

  • Price per unit.
  • Total price. It includes product quantities and applied discounts.

The "per month" price format allows you to display an additional monthly price of a product next to its usual price on your checkout page. This can make the price of the product more attractive to customers.

Example:

  • The price of a product is $120. The product is valid for 1 year.
  • If the "per month" format is disabled, the customer sees the following price on the checkout page: $120.
  • If the "per month" format is enabled, the customer sees the following price on the checkout page: $120 ($10 per month).

Please note that when using the "per month" format, you do not change the price value of a product. The format adjusts the price display only. The customer pays the full price of the product they purchase in a single payment, as if the price uses the default format.

The "per month" format specifics include the following:

  • The format is applied automatically to all the products present on the checkout page, if:
    • The validity period value has been entered per product.
    • The validity period is set in months or years and is greater than or equal to one month.
    • The additional parameter has been transferred in the checkout link.
  • If the conditions are not met, the default price display format is used.
  • Only used on a checkout page. The created order page, the closing documents and other places display only full prices.
  • Only affects the products present on the checkout page. Does not affect the products suggested in the recommendation block, pop-up offers, etc.
  • Displayed only for the price per product item (price based on product quantity). Not displayed for the price per unit.
